Meditations for People in Charge is a small handbook full of valuable insights that were pulled from more than 7000 pages of writings by philosopher Paul Brunton. The sections selected were “designed to inspire, counsel and console people already in or aspiring to positions of responsibility.” They are also likely to cultivate qualities and skills that will ensure that others will be pleased that you are in charge. With an uncanny ability to adapt traditional wisdom to modern conditions, Brunton’s words have won praise from scholars and pragmatists alike. This book seems particularly relevant for parents, teachers, business executives, and leaders of organizations of all types and sizes. In fact, anyone whose actions affect the well-being of others may find this book helpful.
